We took a field trip to the Aviation and Maritime STEM Education Expo at Boston Logan International Airport, to experience hands on demonstrations in the life sciences, technology and innovation. Students were able to board a coast guard boat, cargo plane, helicopter, ambulance, fire rescue vehicle, and more. Students also discussed maritime and aviation with representatives from The Museum of Science, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Students were so well behaved on the train ride(s) to and from Logan, and represented our school admirably among the other 1500 attendees. Take a look at some photos from the day!
